Bella-Vue

Bella-Vue comprises a range of ultra-short-bevel ocular needles specifically designed to facilitate easy-to-perform and reliable suprachoroidal injections. Bella-Vue needles allow for perpendicular suprachoroidal injection, an innovative approach to suprachoroidal administration.  This short microneedle is fully inserted into the eye, until the hub touches the surface of the sclera, after which the fluid is simply injected at a controlled depth., without reflux or leakage.  With OCT a suprachoroidal bleb is visible, which is our hallmark of a successful suprachoroidal injection.

Due to manufacturing precision and the extremely sharp tip of Bella-Vue, leakage and reflux are no longer part of suprachoroidal injection, which becomes an in-office, 30 second procedure. 

Our clinical lead products is Bella-Vue 1.0  with an effective needle length of 1.0 mm and needle bevel length of 0.16 mm (!)
For preclinical work the Bella-Vue family offers a range of needle lengths, optimized for various animal eyes, like rabbits, pigs and NHPs
